Today's Tech Tip - Removing Windows Messenger
If you use MSN Messenger on Windows XP, you may have run into problems with the ever-annoying Windows Messenger. Everytime you log on to the internet, it automatically signs in to MSN without your approval and its a bad thing because it is not the latest version. Kiss that green ass goodbye, you're about to remove it forever.
Step 1: Click on Start>>Run...
Step 2: Type "
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove" without the quotation marks
Voila! You no longer have to put up with people thinking you're signed in when you think you're not. View the full article
