My Hero: Dr. Michio Kaku

Call me a bonified nerd, but there is one living person in this world that I admire more than others. That person is theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku. This guy actually specializes in stuff that can only be plausible in theory, hence the title. Things like alternate universes, hyperspace, other dimensions and even time travel? That's his area of study, no kidding.

I find his articles fascinating; I haven't read them all yet but I especially like the time travel paradox and thinking beyond the three dimensions (Hyperspace). See the full article list here. Sitting on a whole bunch of ideas about the universe and what is beyond that is pretty awe-inducing and thought-provoking. It frees my mind of the little things in this little world, the bigger picture just got bigger.

I remember the time when I got so inspired, I wanted to be what he is and more, to discover things that will leave mankind dumbfounded and awestruck. However, that feeling didn't last very long, I was just a kid. One thing that I will do though, it is to save up and buy his latest book: Parallel Worlds. The title itself makes me think.
